On March 4, 2010, the Eastern District of Texas entered final judgment in favor of Retractable Technologies, Inc. against Occupational & Medical Innovations, Ltd. The Court awarded final judgment in the amount of $3.2 million for misappropriation of trade secrets, and also enjoined Occupational & Medical Innovations from infringing certain claims of U.S. Patent 6,572,584 with its sales of certain syringes.
